Founded in 2008 with a vision to create high-quality, American-made manufacturing solutions, AMT Plastics began with just a few injection molding machines. Through a commitment to excellence, customer service, and delivering top-tier products, the company quickly grew, carving a strong presence in industries such as Point-of-Purchase, Construction, House Goods, and custom molding.
In 2012, AMT Plastics expanded its capabilities by adding three profile extrusion lines, allowing us to meet increasing customer demand. By combining injection molding and plastic extrusion manufacturing, AMT established itself as a versatile provider capable of offering tailored solutions to meet diverse needs.
In 2016, we took another significant step forward with the opening of a 7,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art machine and tool room. This facility enabled us to enhance our in-house design and engineering capabilities, custom-build molds and dies, and reduce lead times and costs for our customers.
A pivotal moment in our history came in 2019 when AMT Plastics acquired Intek Plastics’ Point-of-Purchase division in New Jersey. This acquisition expanded our extrusion capabilities, growing our fleet to 20 profile lines ranging from 1.5” to 4.0” extruders.
In 2024, AMT Plastics made another milestone investment, relocating our molding department to a new, 35,000-square-foot facility. This move allowed us to integrate full automation, robotics, and cutting-edge injection molding machines, further enhancing our manufacturing processes and product quality.
Building on this momentum, in 2025, we relocated our extrusion department to an equally advanced, 35,000-square-foot facility. With new extrusion machines, downstream equipment, and full automation, we continue to push the boundaries of precision and efficiency in plastic manufacturing.
